We are going to describe a crazy patternoid named Danger Duck. First we are going to tell you about the head. Get a yellow hexagon and place it half way to the top of the paper. On the bottom of the hexagon put two blue rhombuses. For the hair put four skinny rhombuses and put them on the top right of the hexagon. Put a green triangle on the left side of the yellow hexagon.

To make the canoe with the monster truck wheels you need ten skinny beige rhombuses. Put one skinny rhombus on the normal blue rhombus. Form the skinny rhombuses into two diamonds and add an exhaust pipe at the back of the canoe. On the second skinny rhombus, put another skinny rhombus that you will attach to a hexagon. Do that on both sides. It’s like when you make the canoe, put one skinny rhombus on the bottom left of the canoe and put the other one on the bottom right of the canoe.

Add a small dot in the duck’s nose. On the triangle that you put on the left side of the hexagon add another triangle on the bottom of the triangle that you have on the top color those yellow. Put an eye on the bird, and color it red. Then you will have to draw red dots on the middle of each head. Color the feathers, except the red dots, blue. Color the rest of the duck purple. Then for the other two skinny rhombuses, you are going to put one on the left bottom of the canoe and the other one on the right side bottom of the canoe. Then color those red stripes and another one straight down. Then color the rest of the two skinny rhombuses blue. Make a little half circle at the end of the exhaust pipe. Color the rest of the exhaust pipe grey.

Now get two hexagons. Before you make the spinners draw a circle in the middle of each wheel, draw dots along the inside of each circle. Then connect the dots in the inside of the two circles that you drew. Now you can do the spinners. To make the spinners you are going to make skinny triangles and color them blue, red, blue, red, etc. on the first wheel. For the other hexagon to make the spinners you are going to draw crazy lines and color them the same as the first wheel. That is how you draw Danger Duck.

Lots of things went well with Jose and Tristan. Their drawing wasn’t what it should look like in the original form because Jonnatan and I didn’t write about the detail in the wheels. We weren’t very clear about the colors and where to put the pieces. We also didn’t explain the nitro exhaust pipe. We could have done a better job for the canoe and how the front and the back are suppose to be  tilted a little upwards. I knew it was ours because it looked just like a duck in a canoe
