Polygonoid
Description
by Richie and Fiona

We wish you luck building the I Don’t Know Monster! In the head there is a hexagon and two clear rhombuses. Put the hexagon down and put the clear rhombuses pointing out, kind of drooping but not touching the neck. Use a square at the bottom of the hexagon to make a neck. Color the face orange and the neck yellow, the ears red.

The body is a hexagon. Use two rhombuses for each arm put three triangles on each hand for claws. Color the whole body brown.

For the legs, use two squares to stick out of the sides of the lower body. Use two rhombuses to attach to the squares.

Attach two triangles at the side of each lower rhombus. For the tail use one clear rhombus to stick out between the legs. We hope you successfully build our polygonoid!

Analysis

Alex and Hunter did a pretty good job making our polygonoid. The head had the right amount of pieces, but their ears sagged a little too much. They colored the body correctly except for the legs. They didn’t use the right amount of shapes for the whole body, but they put the body parts in the right places. We should have told them to put on the mouth and the nose. We also should have described the lower body better. The polygnoid that Alex and Hunter made looks pretty much like our original I Don’t Know Monster.
