Portrait and Description

Bob Picture

recreated by our Walter Hays partners

Bob's head is brown, 2 1/2 inches tall, and 2 inches wide. It has a green mouth at the bottom of his head. The mouth is shaped like a triangle pointed down that has the sides pushed in, with red lines in the middle. He has 16 hairs that curve to the left and are about 1 centimeter long on the top of his head. He has a purple nose in the space between his eyes and mouth. The nose is triangle-shaped and pointed up. Two red, triangle-shaped eyes, with the point down and purple dots in the middle, are towards the top of his head. Black eyebrows, which are straight thick, and diagonal, go right above his eyes. He has brown ears that stick out half an inch and hang down.

The body is brown and hairy. It is shaped like a tree trunk up to his arms. The body is 5 inches long and 1 and 1/2 inches wide. Bob has a neck 3/4 of an inch long and 1 inch thick. Bob has 11 tentacles about 1 inch long. His tentacles are yellow and take the place of feet. His two arms are 2 and 1/2 inches long and hang down. They are brown and have three claws each. The arms are to the side of the body on both sides right below the neck.

Analysis

by Annie and Devon

We described the colors on our monster very well. Our partners made a brown body, the yellow tentacles, and the red eyes with purple dots in the middle. Their monster had sixteen hairs like ours.

We didn't say that the sixteen hairs on our monster were black. We also didn't say that the tentacles were about 1/4 of an inch thick. Instead of writing, "The tentacles are yellow and take the place of feet," we should have written, "The tentacles are yellow, take the place of feet, and are about 1/4 of an inch wide." We also forgot to say that the brown claws face the body.
