Meeting a Real Rothko

It is hard to imagine how big some of these works of art actually are unless you are lucky enough to find one in a museum. This is Ms. Surber admiring a Mark Rothko painting in The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The painting is Untitled (Number 13) and measures 95 3/8 by 81 3/8 inches. It was painted in 1958 using oil and acrylic with powdered pigments on canvas.
