My portrait is in the style of Georges Rouault. I used paint. The colors you need are light blue, dark blue, green, violet, yellow, orange, brown, and black. The size of the paper is 11" x 17". I'm facing the left of the paper. I'm wearing a crown on top of my head. It is 2 and 1/4" high and 4" wide. It almost touches the top of the paper. On the top it has three pointed triangles. They are yellow. On the bottom are three squares and in each square there is a circle. The squares are light-blue mixed with a little bit of green. The circles are yellow. My head is 6" long and 6 and 1/3" wide. It starts 2 and 1/2" from the top of the paper. My neck is 2" long and 1 and 1/2" wide. Now, on my face make a black diagonal line 4" long out to my nose, and go in and out to make my mouth. Then go down 1" and to the right 2 and 1/2" to make my chin and neck. Then paint a black line so you can make my hair from the top of my forehead to my shoulders. One inch down from the top of my forehead is a black eyebrow. Then make a black-colored iris that is looking left. Use green, yellow, and orange and mix them together to make my hair and face color. I'm wearing a shirt. The colors you need for the shirt are red, purple, and black. Mix the red and purple together and use the black to make black lines. Now the background. In the background there is a light blue sky on the top 2 and 1/2 to 3 inches. Mix the green and the blue to make the color. There are two clouds, one on each side of my head. The left cloud is larger then the other. There are mountains across the entire page behind my head. The mountains are dark blue. Between the mountains on the left there is a sun. I mixed yellow and orange to paint it. Then I mixed green and blue together for the grass covering the bottom 5" of the background. |
Analysisby OctaviaJessica did not do well with the head because she drew it facing right instead of left. She didn't put black lines on the shirt. Jessica also didn't put the lines that go to the sun. If I could change my writing I would change the two clouds and put some birds in. I like this project because I like how they wrote, and next we had to draw what they wrote, and so on. |
