by Libby and Valentin We are going to tell you about Mr. Light. Please hold your paper vertically. Mr. Light's body is a big light bulb. In the middle of the top part of the big light bulb there is a small light bulb. In the bottom half of the small light bulb there is one horizontal stripe in the middle and two vertical stripes on the sides. The top part of the small light bulb has a small black dot for the eye. The inside of the top half of the big light is yellow except for the small light bulb that is white. The bottom half of the big light bulb is orange with five horizontal black stripes equally spaced that don't touch the edges. Mr. Light has one red zig-zag antenna going up on each side of his head. On the top of each antenna there is a small light bulb. The top part of the light bulbs on the antenna is yellow with little yellow sparks coming out of it. The bottom parts of the light bulbs at the end of the antennas are black. Mr. Light's single leg is a red zig-zag with a flat bottom. The zig-zag is coming out of the bottom part of the big light bulb. Outline the whole body with a fine line black marker except for the sparks and the red zig-zags. We wish you good luck! |
by Valentin and Libby Allison and Joon Hee had many good things about Mr. Light. They got the body shape and color right. The small light bulb inside the body with the eye and the mouth in it was good. The antenna, the foot, the zig-zag color, and the shape that they drew were correct. They did the black outline around the whole thing perfectly. Here are the differences we found. Our Mr. Light was small, but we forgot to mention the size. The orange part was supposed to be the screw but we said, "The bottom half of the light bulb" by mistake. We did not describe the mouth very well; we said two vertical lines and one horizontal line. We meant to say to separate the screw from the light bulb, but we forgot to. Allison and Joon Hee did a good drawing of Mr. Light. |
