Please order your critters and plants at least 3 weeks (excluding vacations) before you need them. Deliveries are made Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 9:00 AM and 12:00 noon.
No deliveries January 5th-9th.
Last day to order animals is March 19, 2009.
Last day for animal pick-up is June 4, 2009.
(After June 4, teachers must deliver animals to the SRC themselves.)
Preparation for the delivery of live materials is vital and helps the survival of the critters which in turn helps to make a more successful classroom experience.
Please order your crayfish coupon as soon as possible. You will receive a prepaid coupon that you can send in to the supplier when you are ready to start the unit. These coupons are prepaid and valuable. After filling out the coupon, please copy the front and back before mailing in case there are delivery problems.
All live materials (except butterflies) are to be returned to the SRC where they will be maintained and “recycled” for use in another classroom if possible. For transport be sure that all containers have a secure lid.
