Geometric
Description
by Anna and Cory

We are going to describe a geometric named Ms. Surber. First, we will describe the face and head. The head is a hexagon. Place one in the center of the paper. Draw eyebrows, eyes, a mouth, and a nose with a black skinny marker.

Now we will describe the hair. First, place a triangle on top of the hexagon. Next, place two rhombuses next to the triangle. Then put two more rhombuses under those. Put another two rhombuses under those so there isn’t a gap. Next, put a trapezoid so the shorter end is touching the hexagon. Place two more rhombuses next to the trapezoid.

Finally, we will describe the body. Put two trapezoids under the first one. Then place four skinny rhombuses like arms and legs.

The last thing is to color everything. The head, arms, and legs are peach. The hair is gray with blue streaks on the right side. The first trapezoid is azure, the next is teal, and the last trapezoid is blue lagoon. The very last step is to outline the hair, arms, and legs in black. Outline the body in blue. We hope you had fun recreating our geometric. Good luck!

Excellent job! You did great. Right when our teacher held up your picture, we could tell right away that it was yours. The colors are almost exactly the same. For example, the hair is perfect. Most of the shapes are right. The face is all correct, and you did an awesome job. The body is almost all accurate, and the colors are precise.

To make things clearer, we could have written, “Put a trapezoid under the first one that was under the head.” We also could have said to outline the arms and legs in black so that would have been clear. We should have said how many of each shape there was going to be. Again, you did a great job!
