Chocolate

Description
by Kayla and Jeff

This is how you make Chocolate the Pup. First put a hexagon for the head. Then put two rhombuses at the top right and top left of the hexagon for the ears. For the body put a trapezoid with the short side pointing up on the right bottom side of the hexagon. You will need four parallelograms for the legs. Put two parallelograms where the trapezoid starts and ends at the bottom to make the tail. Put another parallelogram at the top of the back feet pointing up.

Now you are going to color. First get a brown marker. Color the whole dog brown. Then put a black dot at the bottom of each eye. To make the nose, make a small black triangle in the middle of the head. Put two black curved lines under the black triangle to form a mouth. We hope you enjoyed making Chocolate the Pup.

Analysis

Alexander and Kaya you did a great job making Chocolate the Pup. The head is in the right place. You used the right colors. The eyes are the right sizes and you used the right shapes except for the tail.

We could have explained the ears, body, legs, tail, nose, mouth, and eyes better. When we were describing where to put the ears we didn’t say to put them up or down. They should be up. When we told you about the body we could have said, “not the bottom of the hexagon” or “not the left bottom of the hexagon.” Instead of two parallelograms at the start and end of the body we should have said bottom right and bottom left.
