Description by Melinda and Rachel This is Max, our extraterrestrial. We are going to describe his head. His head is bigger than his body. Max's head is oval. He has four eyes lined up together with a little space in between. The two eyes on the left are green, and the right eyes are blue. His nose looks like the bottom half of your lip, only bigger. The nose is red. Max's head is shaped like an Easter egg. The top part of his mouth is purple, the middle part is like a belt (which is red), and the bottom of his mouth is yellow. We divided his head into three sections. The first section on the left is purple, the second section in the middle on top of his nose and below his nose is blue. The third section on the right is orange. Now we are going to describe his antennae. Max's antennae are as long as a pinky. The right antenna is purple; the left antenna is brown. Now we are going to describe his ears. The left ear has black polka dots, and the right one is brown. His neck is as long as his ears, only shorter. He has five wings. These are the order of the color of his wings. Here are the colors on the left going from the top to the bottom: yellow, red, red, blue, blue. Here are the colors of the right wings going from the top to the bottom: yellow, purple, purple, green, green. The part in between his wings has pink polka dots. His waist looks like a stick. The waist's color is orange. Max has four legs. Here are the colors from the left to right: blue, green, orange, and yellow. And that's our extraterrestrial, Max.

Analysis by Rachel and Melinda These are the parts that went well about Max. The colors of his head were the same, except for the part above his nose. His mouth, nose, and eyes are the same color as the original drawing. They put the features of his face in the right position. The position of Max's body parts is correct, except for his antennae. We noticed that the color of his legs is accurate, but he does not have toes. His wings are the exact color, but he has a bigger space in between them. The colors of his entire body are the same as the original drawing. These are parts that we forgot to tell about, or the parts that they left out. We forgot to tell them that Max has pointy ears. We also forgot to tell the size of his antennae. The shape of his head is very small compared to the original drawing. Our description did not tell about what place they should draw the antennae. Also it did not tell the right information about the color above Max's nose. Their drawing compared to ours is a lot smaller. Our drawing is outlined in black but we forgot to tell it in the description. They forgot to put pink polka dots in between his wings. We think that the kids did a good job on our ET: Max.
