Alien

Description
by Henry and Jordan

This is the alien you are about to draw. Its name is Fred, or Aledelat (in Mars language).

Fred has six heads; the heads are vertical ovals. There are three eyes on each head. The eyes are going vertical. On top of each head there is a radio antenna with four circles on it, the top circle is blue. Little radio waves go from antenna to antenna. Each head is green. The eyes are red, with vertical lines inside the eye. The eyes are going down. It has rectangle mouth with sharp pointy teeth. Each tooth is white. (Note: the heads are all the same.) It has a long neck. (Use common sense, don’t make it too long.)

It’s body is green and a rectangle shape going horizontally. It has a postage stamp that says “U.S.A Mail” and has a “from mars” sticker and a “to earth” sticker on it.

It has seven legs and three toes on each foot. The toes are all pointing to the right. It has four really small arms, two on one side and two on the other, with four fingers on each hand.

And that is our alien Fred.

Analysis
by Jordan and Henry

These are the things Omer and Hiroki did well: the body, the stamps, the mouth, the eyes, and the radio antennas. We liked the body because it was a rectangle. We liked the stamps because they had the right words on them. The mouth was great because it had pointy white teeth. We liked the eyes because they were going the right way. Best of all were the radio antennas because they look exactly like ours.

A few things went wrong. The feet and hands were white and they were supposed to be green. (We didn’t say the color.) The arms were supposed to come out of one arm into two. The body was too long with the necks. We thought we said to use common sense, don’t make the necks too long. The necks were supposed to come up like tree trunks. (We forgot to say that.) The electricity is black not blue, (Once again our fault for not saying.) That’s all folks!
